An adventure I will cherish for a lifetime, I was pumped and excited to get paddling around the island, but still had this thought lingering in the back of my mind! Will we or can we make it?
In the end that was the least of my worries, we blitzed it.
All the long hours of paddles were rewarded with so many cracking laughs and stories with a group of mates enjoying life, paddling around a beautiful island.
The fun didn't just happen on the water, we also enjoyed some of the best tropical camping sites the island had to offer, enjoying beers thinking about what we are going to see and discover tomorrow.
Looking forward to the next trip, highly recommended to all looking for an awesome adventure. Big thanks to all the guys and sponsors, Absolutely Brilliant

The term 'intrepid' gets bandied around all too often these days. However in March 2012 it was my distinct pleasure to join with six other 'West Coast Mad Boys' and embark on an ambitious adventure. Circumnavigate the island of Phuket on Stand Up Paddle boards.
More than simply paddling towards a destination I was blessed with a journey. A life-changing awakening full of discovery, satisfaction and empowerment.
The often stunning, seldom seen perspective of Phuket provided infinite inspiration; as did the salty old group of six fellow participants.
Oh yeh, and in having the time of our lives we managed to raise enough funds and awareness for the construction of a school for underprivileged refugee children in Phuket.
